The Assumption library welcomes students each day of the week and is located at the heart of the school. Students can visit the library before and after school and at lunch time to study, read, borrow resources or enjoy a game of chess.
The library collection includes fiction, senior fiction, graphic novels and magazines as well as a range of non-fiction titles to assist students with research. During the year, a number of activities are run through the library including chess club, coding club and makerspaces. Our digital collections include ebooks, audiobooks and access to Britannica Online (encyclopedia) and the EBSCO academic databases. The library also houses the school’s printers for student use.
Library staff are available to assist students with research and assignment writing skills, book advice, and digital issues with iPads, printing, etc. The library catalogue, as well as the school’s online research portal, can be found by following this link:
