Project Compassion

A massive congratulations to our ACW school community – you raised $750 for Project Compassion 2020! Considering the challenges that many in our community are facing after a prolonged drought, an intense bushfire season, the financial pressure from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing absence of students towards the end of the term, this is truly a remarkable figure.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

Holy Week Resources

A group called Catholic Family Crate are providing families with free printable resources for Holy Week. Without Masses over Holy Week, they have recognised the need for families to engage in spiritual formation and develop their understanding of the significance of Holy Week for the Catholic calendar.

Prayer

Jesus, during Your ministry on Earth You showed Your power and caring by healing people of all ages and stations of life from physical, mental, and spiritual ailments. Be present now to people who need Your loving touch because of COVID-19. May they feel Your power of healing through the care of doctors and nurses.

Take away the fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation from people receiving treatment or under quarantine. Give them a sense of purpose in pursuing health and protecting others from exposure to the disease. Protect their families and friends and bring peace to all who love them.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
