University Showcase

Year 12 students recently had the opportunity to attend the annual ‘University Showcase’. The University Showcase is a collective run of institutions visiting local high schools to provide tertiary education information to young people who do not have as much engagement or the opportunity to engage with university and vocational providers.

It included a short presentation by touring university representatives and other tertiary education providers. The presentation encompassed both a freestyle presentation and an expo style component. Institutions presented a different topic such as student life, costs, scholarships, how to apply and accommodation.

It was then followed by a small expo for students to meet institution representatives and collect information. It was a great opportunity for students to obtain information about university and tertiary pathways and ask any questions they may have about education and training after Year 12.
