Open Day

The annual College Open Day is held each year, usually on the last Friday in May from 3:30pm to 5:30pm and is a great opportunity to tour the College and meet with both Staff and Students.  There are subject displays in: Business, Drama, English, Graphics, Home Economics, Mathematics, Religious Education, Science, Social Science, Sport, Visual Art, Vocational Education and many more!

If you are unable to visit the College on our Open Day, tours of the College can be arranged throughout the year, on normal school days, so that prospective families can experience 'business as usual' at Assumption College. To arrange a tour please contact our Principal’s Secretary on acwarwick@twb.catholic.edu.au or (07) 4660 4000.

For student who are thinking of enrolling for Year 7, the College holds two transition half days during the year.  The purpose of these days is to enable students to become immersed in the secondary school environment and experience new subjects and lesson changes to help ease students into their secondary studies.

At the end of the year the College holds an Orientation Day to facilitate the smooth entry of students into secondary school. This is usually around the first Monday in December. Information regarding this day is posted to all students who have enrolled for the coming year.
